Risky Business: employment and financial wellbeing?

  • David Hume Institute Standard Life House, 30 Lothian Road Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 2DH United Kingdom (map)

Be the first to hear the David Hume Institute latest research which investigates the Great Risk Transfer and the changed relationship between employment and financial wellbeing, published in partnership with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

This report examines the impact of the Great Risk Transfer on individuals and society through the changing relationship between employer and employees. What are the implications for productivity and government aspirations for economic growth? This new research builds on our work from 2022, The Great Risk Transfer - have we got the balance right?

Lead researcher, Shelagh Young will present the findings and will be joined for reflections by Catherine McWilliam from the Institute of Directors and Allison Barnes from the Money and Pensions Service. We look forward to another fascinating and thought-provoking discussion. Join us to think about what this research means for you, your organisation and society.

This event is kindly hosted by Phoenix Group, at Standard Life House, 30 Lothian Road, Edinburgh EH1 2DH.

Registration, tea and coffee from 10.00am, with a prompt start at 10.30am. The event will close at 12 noon.
