The Action Project brings people from across Scotland together to consider what we need to do to move faster towards a country that is more prosperous, sustainable, inclusive and fair.
Through a series of facilitated conversations, together, we will identify actions for individuals, organisations and government.
The Action Project is not a remedy for the economic and social damage resulting from COVID-19, however it draws on the reflections that the crisis has stimulated about what is important and valuable in life and the ways in which people would like the future to be different from the past - how we #BuildForwardBetter.
The foundation of this research was an assessment of the current policy environment in Scotland. DHI analysed over 3,600 pages of policy research including 700 policy recommendations to identify areas of agreement and shared vision.
The consensus is clear: we need to change our system if we are to deliver faster on equality, places and environment outcomes.
