Bruce Fummey: Does history have a colour?

In June 2025 we organised an event to share “The story so far” of the project, bringing people connected to or interested in the different elements together. The title is a nod to this being a conversation that continually evolves.

Award-winning comedian Bruce Fummey, founder of Scotland History Tours opened the day considering how our past shapes the present. 

He invited us to think deeply about what it means to be Scottish and the “Enlightenment in Shades of Grey” by weaving together personal experience and historical facts with plenty of laughs along the way.
